Apparel Size & Colour Guide

Custom apparel · Corporate wear · Uniforms · Promotional merchandise. Measure once, order with confidence — no fitting room needed.

About This Guide

This guide helps you order custom-branded apparel, corporate wear, uniforms, and promotional merchandise online with confidence — without trying garments on first. It consolidates international apparel sizing standards used by leading uniform and blank-apparel manufacturers into one consistent reference, adapted for the Kenyan and East African market.

All charts use both centimetres and inches. Unless a row says otherwise, measurements marked "to fit" are body measurements — measure yourself and pick the column your measurement falls into. Rows such as garment length, shoulder width, and sleeve length describe the actual garment, so you can compare them against clothing you already own and like the fit of.

Because branded garments are customised for you, they cannot be restocked or resold once produced. Ten extra minutes with a tape measure before you order saves days of rework after delivery — please confirm every size before bulk production.

How Apparel Sizing Works

The Basics

Letter sizes (S, M, L, XL and so on) are shorthand for a range of body measurements. A size M garment is not "medium" in any absolute sense — it is cut to fit a specific chest range, in this guide 96–101 cm (38–40 inches). Garments are then cut with "ease" — extra room beyond your body measurement — so you can move, sit, and breathe comfortably. Regular-fit garments carry moderate ease, relaxed and oversized fits carry more, and slim fits carry less.

Sizing is not identical across manufacturers. A size L from one factory can fit like an M or an XL from another. That is why the charts in this guide — not the size you "usually wear" in retail shops — should be your reference when ordering. When in doubt, measure a garment you own that fits well and compare it against the garment rows in the relevant chart.

Men's, Women's, and Unisex Sizing

Unisex sizing follows the men's cut: straighter through the waist, wider at the shoulder, and longer in the body. Most corporate and promotional apparel is produced in unisex sizing because it simplifies team orders. As a rule of thumb, women ordering unisex garments should go one size down from their usual women's size for a standard fit, or stay on their usual size for a relaxed fit.

Women's (ladies') cuts are shaped differently, not just smaller: narrower shoulders, a contoured waist, room through the bust and hip, and a shorter body and sleeve. Where we offer a ladies' cut — for example fitted t-shirts, polos, and blouses — use the ladies' chart in that product's section rather than converting from the unisex chart.

Corporate Uniforms vs Fashion Apparel

Fashion sizing chases trends — one season runs slim, the next oversized — and varies enormously between brands. Uniform and workwear sizing is deliberately stable and standardised, because a uniform must fit a whole team, be worn for full working days, allow free movement, and survive frequent industrial washing.

Practical differences to expect: uniforms are cut slightly roomier than fashion equivalents; workwear (dust coats, coveralls, safety wear) is sized to be worn over normal clothing; and hard-wearing fabrics are chosen for durability first. Cotton-rich garments can shrink around 3–5% in the first washes, so charts already allow for practical after-wash fit — avoid sizing down "because it will stretch".

Choosing Your Size — and What To Do Between Sizes

  • Take your chest, waist, and hip measurements as described below, then find the column where your measurement falls.
  • Prioritise the chest measurement for tops, jackets, and coats; the waist for trousers and overalls; and the neck/collar for formal shirts.
  • If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger size. A slightly roomy garment is wearable every day; a tight one stays in the drawer. The exceptions: stretch-fabric garments and deliberately slim styles, where the smaller size may give the intended look.
  • For anything worn over other clothing — jackets, puff jackets, dust coats, coveralls, safety vests — measure over the clothes you will actually wear underneath, or size up.

Ordering for Teams and Organisations

Measure, don't guess. Share this guide with your team and have each person submit their own size against the charts. For orders of 20 people or more, we recommend a sample sizing set — one garment per size that staff can physically try on before the order is confirmed. It is the single most effective way to eliminate size disputes.

If you must order before collecting individual sizes — for example event merchandise or giveaway stock — use the distribution that teams typically follow: roughly 15% S, 30% M, 30% L, 15% XL, and 10% 2XL, adjusted for what you know about your group. Round upward and add about 5% spares in the most common sizes; a slightly big shirt still gets worn, a too-small one does not.

  • Appoint one coordinator to collect sizes, set a firm deadline, and submit a single consolidated list (name, garment, size, quantity).
  • Keep the final size list on record — it makes repeat orders and new-staff top-ups effortless.
  • For mixed teams, unisex regular fit in a stable, repeatable garment is the safest standard; offer a ladies' cut option where the product allows.

Confirm Before Bulk Production

Branded apparel is made to order. Once your logo is printed or embroidered, garments cannot be returned to stock, resold, or exchanged for different sizes. Before production begins, we ask every client to confirm the final size breakdown in writing and, for larger orders, to approve a pre-production sample. Treat the size sign-off with the same seriousness as the artwork sign-off — it protects your budget and your delivery date.

How To Measure Yourself

Use a soft tailor's tape measure. Measure over light clothing (not over a jacket or sweater), stand naturally, and keep the tape level and snug — firm against the body but never tight. A second person makes chest, shoulder, and sleeve measurements much more accurate.

Measurement PointHow to Measure
Chest / BustWrap the tape around the fullest part of the chest or bust, under the arms and across the shoulder blades, keeping it level all the way round.
WaistMeasure around the natural waistline — the narrowest point of the torso, roughly at navel level. Do not pull the tape tight or hold your breath in.
Hip / SeatStand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
Shoulder widthMeasure across the back, from the tip of one shoulder bone to the other. On a garment: seam to seam across the back yoke.
Sleeve lengthMeasure from the shoulder tip (where the shoulder seam sits) down the outside of a slightly bent arm to the wrist bone.
Neck / CollarWrap the tape around the base of the neck where a collar sits, with one finger inside the tape for comfort. Used for formal shirts.
Inside leg (inseam)Measure from the crotch to the floor along the inside of the leg, or measure a well-fitting pair of trousers laid flat from crotch seam to hem.
HeightStand straight against a wall without shoes and measure from floor to the top of the head. Used for coveralls.
Head circumferenceWrap the tape around the head about 2.5 cm (1 inch) above the eyebrows and ears, across the widest part at the back of the head. Used for caps.
Garment lengthOn a garment you own and like: measure down the back from the highest point of the collar seam to the bottom hem. Compare with the 'garment length' rows in the charts.

Remember: "to fit" rows in the charts are body measurements — compare them against your body. Garment rows (length, shoulder, sleeve) are the garment's own dimensions — compare them against clothing you own.

Product Size Charts

Each product below includes a description and typical use, the fit type, the available size range, and full measurement tables in centimetres and inches, followed by sizing notes specific to that garment. All charts are unisex unless labelled otherwise. On smaller screens, swipe the tables sideways to see every size.

1. Round Neck T-Shirts

The everyday staple of branded apparel: crew-neck t-shirts in cotton or cotton-polyester blends. Ideal for events, activations, promotional giveaways, casual staff wear, campaigns, school trips, and team-building days. Prints beautifully across the chest and back, making it the most cost-effective garment for large branded runs.

Fit type: Regular unisex fit (relaxed and oversized cuts available on request); ladies' fitted cut available   Available sizes: XS – 4XL (larger sizes on request)

Sizing Notes

  • Between sizes? Go up a size — cotton tees relax very little and may shrink slightly in the first washes.
  • Women ordering the unisex cut: take one size below your usual women's size for a standard fit, or your usual size for a relaxed fit.

Ladies' Fitted T-Shirt

A shaped cut with narrower shoulders, a contoured waist, and a shorter body. Choose it when a tailored look matters — front-office teams, brand ambassadors, and hostesses.

2. Polo Shirts

Collared piqué-knit shirts — the workhorse of smart-casual corporate wear. Perfect for sales teams, front desks, field officers, schools, delivery crews, golf days, and any setting where a t-shirt is too casual and a formal shirt too stiff. Embroiders exceptionally well on the left chest.

Sizing Notes

  • Piqué fabric has slight natural stretch — true-to-size for most people; size up if you are between sizes or prefer an untucked, relaxed look.
  • Ladies' polos follow the ladies' fitted t-shirt chart above, with the body cut approximately 2 cm longer.

3. Corporate Shirts

Formal woven shirts in long or short sleeve — the standard for banks, SACCOs, insurance firms, hotels, law firms, and front-office teams. Formal shirts are sized primarily by collar (neck) size; the chest and sleeve figures below show the body each collar size is cut to fit.

Fit type: Regular fit (slim fit available on request)   Available sizes: S – 4XL, by collar size; ladies' blouses by UK dress size 8 – 22

Sizing Notes

  • Measure the collar with one finger inside the tape — a collar that is exact to the neck will feel tight when buttoned with a tie.
  • Slim-fit shirts are cut about 4–6 cm closer through the chest and waist; broad-shouldered or athletic builds should stay with regular fit or size up in slim.
  • Between collar sizes, take the larger collar — the chest can be tailored, a tight collar cannot.

4. Hoodies

Hooded sweatshirts with a front pouch pocket, in brushed-back fleece. A favourite for youth brands, tech teams, campus and alumni merchandise, church and CBO groups, and cold-season staff wear. Large front and back print areas make hoodies a strong canvas for bold branding.

Fit type: Relaxed unisex fit — cut roomier than a t-shirt, with space for a layer underneath   Available sizes: S – 4XL

Sizing Notes

  • Order your t-shirt size for the standard relaxed look — the extra room is already built into the cut. Size up only if you want a pronounced oversized style.
  • Fleece can shrink slightly on hot washes; wash cool to keep the fit and the print quality.

5. Sweatshirts

Crew-neck fleece sweatshirts — the smarter, hood-free sibling of the hoodie. Ideal as a corporate mid-layer over polos and shirts, for schools, uniformed teams, and cold mornings in the office or the field. Takes both embroidery and print well.

Fit type: Regular unisex fit with room for a shirt underneath   Available sizes: S – 4XL

Sizing Notes

  • True to size when worn over a t-shirt or polo. If you will regularly wear it over a formal shirt, consider one size up.
  • Ribbed cuffs and hem are designed to sit snug — they loosen slightly with wear.

6. Jackets

Corporate outerwear — softshell jackets, windbreakers, fleece jackets, and bombers. Standard issue for field teams, delivery and logistics crews, outdoor events, site visits, and staff working across the cold season. Cut to be worn over a shirt or polo.

Sizing Notes

  • The chart assumes a shirt or polo underneath. If you will wear a sweater or hoodie under the jacket, size up.
  • Softshell fabrics have light stretch and forgive borderline sizing; woven windbreakers do not — size up if between sizes.

7. Puff Jackets

Insulated (padded/quilted) jackets for real warmth — the July–August cold season, highland regions, early-morning logistics, night security, and outdoor staff. Increasingly popular as premium corporate gifts and executive team wear.

Fit type: Relaxed fit — insulation adds bulk, so the cut is generous by design   Available sizes: S – 4XL

Sizing Notes

  • Order true to size for wear over a shirt or light sweater — the roomy cut is intentional. Size up only if you will layer heavily underneath.
  • Padding compresses at the seams where logos are embroidered; we will advise on placement at artwork approval.

8. Dust Coats

Knee-length button-front work coats worn over normal clothing — the standard for warehouses, stockrooms, hardware stores, workshops, supermarkets, and light industry. Usually poly-cotton drill for durability and easy washing, with front pockets and a chest pocket.

Sizing Notes

  • Measure your chest over the clothes you will wear beneath the coat, then use that figure on the chart.
  • Between sizes, always size up — a dust coat must button comfortably while you bend, lift, and reach.

9. Cargo Overalls (Work Trousers)

Heavy-duty cargo work trousers in cotton or poly-cotton drill, with reinforced seams and multi-tool side pockets. Standard for construction, engineering, maintenance, landscaping, and technical crews — worn alone or matched with a work jacket or reflective top. Sized by waist.

Fit type: Regular straight-leg work fit   Available sizes: Waist W30 – W46 (approx. S – 4XL); leg lengths Short (76 cm), Regular (81 cm), Long (86 cm)

  • Approximate letter equivalents: S ≈ W30–32, M ≈ W32–34, L ≈ W36–38, XL ≈ W38–40, 2XL ≈ W42, 3XL ≈ W44, 4XL ≈ W46.
  • Measure the waist where the trousers will actually sit, and choose the larger waist if between sizes — work trousers are worn with a belt.
  • State your leg length (Short / Regular / Long) with every trouser order; Regular fits most people between 1.68 m and 1.82 m tall.

10. Reflective Safety Wear

High-visibility vests and jackets in fluorescent yellow or orange with retro-reflective tape — required for construction sites, road works, warehouses, security teams, boda and delivery fleets, and event marshals. Hi-vis garments are certified to EN ISO 20471, which grades them Class 1 to Class 3 by the area of fluorescent and reflective material: the higher the class, the higher-risk the environment they are approved for (Class 3 for fast-moving traffic and highways). Tell us where the garments will be used and we will confirm the class you need.

Safety vests are deliberately loose and sized in combined ranges — they must fit over a uniform, overall, or jacket without restricting movement.

Fit type: Loose over-clothing fit (vests); hi-vis jackets follow the Jackets chart with one size up recommended   Available sizes: S/M – 4XL/5XL (vests); S – 4XL (jackets and hi-vis coveralls)

  • Choose the vest size that covers your chest measured over your normal work clothing — never your bare-body chest size.
  • Branding on hi-vis garments must not cover the reflective tape or reduce the fluorescent background below the certified area; we position logos to keep garments compliant.
  • Hi-vis certification only comes in fluorescent yellow, orange, and red backgrounds — company colours are added through logo print, not the base fabric.

11. Chef Jackets

Classic double-breasted chef jackets in white or black, for hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and culinary schools. Cut roomy on purpose: kitchens are hot, and the double-breasted front plus generous body allow air flow, free arm movement, and a quick change to a clean front.

12. Aprons

Bib, waist, and bistro aprons for cafés, restaurants, salons, barbershops, butcheries, supermarkets, and workshops. Aprons are one-size-fits-most: adjustable neck straps and long waist ties handle the fitting, so team orders need no size collection at all — just quantities.

Sizing Notes

  • Bib styles have adjustable neck straps; all styles have waist ties of approximately 85–90 cm (33–35 in) each side, comfortably fitting waists up to about 130 cm (51 in). Longer ties are available on request.
  • For very tall staff, the bistro apron gives more coverage below the waist; for counter service, the waist apron keeps movement free.

13. Lab Coats

Knee-length white coats with button or stud fronts, for clinics, hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, universities, and secondary school science departments. Poly-cotton fabric stands up to frequent hot washing and holds embroidery (names, titles, department) cleanly on the chest pocket.

Fit type: Regular professional fit over normal clothing   Available sizes: XS – 4XL; ladies' cut available on request

Sizing Notes

  • Measure your chest over your normal work clothing — lab coats are outer layers.
  • The ladies' cut is approximately 6 cm shorter in the body with a shaped waist; specify it when ordering if preferred.

14. Coveralls (Boiler Suits)

One-piece work suits for mechanics, engineering workshops, agriculture, oil and gas, manufacturing, and fumigation crews. Because a coverall must fit the whole body in one garment, both your chest size and your height matter — use the recommended-height row to confirm your size.

Fit type: Generous work fit with room for movement and a layer underneath   Available sizes: S – 4XL (Tall lengths on request)

Sizing Notes

  • If your chest and height point to different sizes, follow the chest and choose the leg/torso length that matches your height — tell us and we will advise.
  • Size up if you will wear the coverall over full clothing or need to crouch and climb frequently; a coverall that pulls at the crotch when you squat is a size too small.

15. Caps

Six-panel baseball caps, snapbacks, trucker caps, and bucket hats — high-visibility branding that works for events, promotions, delivery fleets, and staff uniforms alike. Most corporate caps are adjustable (velcro, buckle, or snapback closure), which makes team ordering simple: one size covers nearly everyone. Sizing information applies only to fitted and elastic-band styles.

Fit type: Adjustable one-size (most styles); fitted styles by head circumference   Available sizes: One size adjustable; fitted S/M and L/XL; youth size for schools and kids' events

Sizing Notes

  • Measure around the head about 2.5 cm above the eyebrows and ears. If between fitted sizes, take the larger — or simply choose an adjustable style.
  • For mixed teams, adjustable closures are strongly recommended; reserve fitted caps for uniform programmes where every wearer's size is on record.
  • Bucket hats follow the fitted S/M and L/XL ranges above.

Colour Guide

Colour does two jobs on corporate apparel: it represents your brand, and it manages the practical realities of the work — dirt, sun, heat, and visibility. This section covers the standard colours stocked across corporate apparel, how they are used, and how to choose and confirm colours before production.

Garment Colours vs Branding Colours

These are two separate decisions. The garment colour is the fabric the apparel is made in — chosen from the manufacturer's stocked shades listed below. The branding colours are your logo and artwork, reproduced in print ink or embroidery thread on top of the garment. Your logo can be matched closely to your brand guidelines (Pantone or thread-code references), but garment fabric comes in standard stocked shades — an exact fabric match to a specific brand colour usually requires custom dyeing at high minimum quantities.

The practical rule: pick a garment colour that contrasts strongly with your logo. Light logos belong on dark garments and dark logos on light garments. If your logo has many colours, a neutral garment — white, black, navy, or grey — shows it most faithfully.

Why Colours Look Different On Screen

Phone and computer screens display colour with light (RGB); fabric shows colour with dye under whatever light you are standing in. The same navy can look black on one phone, purple on another, and different again in office lighting versus sunlight. Small shade differences between fabric dye batches are also normal in apparel manufacturing.

For this reason, never make a final colour decision from a screen alone. For any order where colour accuracy matters — and for every bulk order — ask to see a physical fabric swatch or a produced sample before production. It is the only reliable way to confirm what your team will actually wear.

Standard Corporate Apparel Colours

The names below follow standard apparel industry naming, so what you order is what arrives. Availability varies by garment type and current stock — confirm your colour against the specific garment when ordering.

ColourCommon Branding ApplicationsTypical IndustriesVisibility & Professionalism Notes
BlackPremium and universal; makes every logo colour stand out; hides stains and wearHospitality, security, salons, events, tech, corporateHighly professional and slimming; absorbs heat in full sun; low visibility at night without reflective elements
WhiteClean canvas for full-colour prints; the standard for kitchens and medical wearCatering, healthcare, labs, pharmacies, religious eventsCrisp and hygienic-looking; shows dirt fastest — best where garments are washed after every wear
Navy BlueThe corporate default; pairs with almost any logo colour; conceals everyday soilingBanking, SACCOs, insurance, logistics, engineering, schoolsSerious, trustworthy, and the safest single choice for mixed corporate teams
Royal BlueBrighter, more energetic blue for visible team identitySchools, sports teams, telecoms, events, youth programmesStrong shelf presence; professional yet lively; white or yellow logos pop on it
Sky BlueSoft, approachable shade for shirts and polosHealthcare, airlines, customer service, front officeCalm and friendly; shows sweat and soiling more than darker blues
RedHigh-energy attention colour for promotions and activationsRetail promotions, food and beverage, events, sportsMaximum visual impact; can dominate a design — keep logos simple; strong in crowds

KhakiPractical earth tone with a field and outdoors characterTourism, safaris, agriculture, security, NGOs in the fieldProfessional in outdoor settings; hides dust well — well suited to Kenyan field conditions
BeigeSoft neutral for a relaxed premium lookHospitality, spas, cafés, boutique retailWarm and welcoming; shows stains more than khaki — better front-of-house than in the field
BrownGrounded, artisanal earth toneCoffee brands, barbershops, carpentry, leather and craft tradesDependable and warm; hides soil and product stains; strong with cream or gold branding
PurpleDistinctive, creative shade that stands out in a sea of bluesCreative agencies, beauty, fintech, women's organisationsMemorable and premium; less common in corporate wear — an advantage for brand recall

Swatches are on-screen approximations — always confirm against a physical fabric swatch.

Choosing Corporate Apparel Colours

  • Anchor on your brand palette, then adapt to the work. Office and front-desk teams can wear brand colours directly; field, workshop, and kitchen teams often do better with a practical base colour (navy, charcoal, khaki, white for kitchens) carrying the brand through the logo.
  • Darker colours hide wear and stains and suit daily-use uniforms; light colours look crisp but demand frequent washing — match the colour to your laundering reality.
  • Under the equatorial sun, strong colours fade faster on cheap fabric than on quality fabric — for uniforms worn outdoors daily, invest in the better fabric rather than the cheaper garment in the same colour.
  • Where safety rules apply, the colour is chosen for you: certified high-visibility garments come only in fluorescent yellow, orange, or red.
  • A two-colour system works well for teams: a dark trouser or skirt everyone already owns, plus a branded top in the corporate colour — uniform impact at a fraction of the cost.

How Colour Shapes Brand Perception

On apparel, colour is your most visible brand asset — a branded team in a matched colour is recognisable across a banking hall, a trade-show floor, or a construction site before any logo is legible. Blues communicate trust and stability; greens signal growth and community; red and orange demand attention and suit promotion and safety; black, charcoal, and maroon read premium and established. Consistency multiplies the effect: the same colour on every uniform, across every branch, on every workday, is what turns a colour into your colour.

Branding & Production Considerations

Logo Size and Placement Across Garment Sizes

Logo artwork is applied at a fixed size for a uniform look across the whole team — a left-chest logo is the same width on a size S as on a 4XL, and remains correctly proportioned on both. The standard placements and artwork sizes we recommend:

PlacementRecommended Artwork SizeTypical Use
Left chest8–10 cm wideThe corporate standard — polos, shirts, jackets, lab coats, chef jackets
Full front (centre chest)25–30 cm wideEvent tees, promotional t-shirts, campaign apparel
Full back28–33 cm wideStaff identification, crew and security wear, delivery teams
Upper back (nape)8–10 cm wideWeb address, tagline, or secondary mark below the collar
Sleeve7–8 cm wideFlags, partner logos, department marks
Cap front10–12 cm wide × 5–6 cm highPrimary logo on caps
Apron centre chest20–25 cm wideCafé, restaurant, and salon branding

Two size-related exceptions: on XS and youth garments a full-front print may be scaled down slightly to keep clear margins, and on padded garments (puff jackets) placement avoids seams and quilting lines. We confirm exact placement on your artwork mockup.

Embroidery vs Printing — What Works Where

  • Embroidery — the premium, most durable option. Best on polos, corporate shirts, jackets, caps, chef wear, and lab coats. Costed by stitch count, so it favours compact logos (left chest, cap front) over large artwork. Outlasts the garment itself through industrial washing.
  • Screen printing — the most economical method for bulk t-shirt runs with few colours — events, campaigns, giveaways. Large prints, bold colour, low unit cost at volume.
  • DTF / heat transfer and vinyl — ideal for small quantities, full-colour artwork, individual names and numbers, and mixed-garment orders. Excellent detail with no minimum-quantity pressure.
  • Fleece and padded garments — hoodies, sweatshirts, and puff jackets brand best with embroidery or transfer; large screen prints on heavy fleece need thicker ink deposits, which we account for in production.
  • Reflective safety wear — branding must never cover reflective tape or reduce the certified fluorescent area — we position logos so the garment stays compliant with its safety class.

Why Sample Approval Comes Before Bulk

A sample is cheap insurance on an order that cannot be un-printed. The standard process: (1) you approve a digital mockup showing artwork, colours, placement, and dimensions; (2) for bulk orders, we produce one physical pre-production sample on the actual garment; (3) you confirm the sample — fit, fabric, colour, and branding — in writing; (4) bulk production begins. The sample stage catches everything a screen cannot show: how the thread colour sits on the fabric, how the print feels, and how the garment actually fits your people.

Collecting Sizes From Your Team

  • Share the size charts in this guide with every team member and have each person measure themselves — self-reported "usual sizes" from retail shopping are the biggest source of fit errors.
  • Collect responses on a simple form or list — name, garment, size, quantity — through one coordinator with a firm deadline. A shared spreadsheet or a structured WhatsApp list both work; what matters is one consolidated final list.
  • For orders of 20+ people, request a sample sizing set and let staff try sizes on before the list is finalised.
  • Add roughly 5% spares in M and L, and keep the final list on record for repeat orders and new-staff top-ups.

Common Mistakes To Avoid

  • Guessing sizes from job titles, appearance, or "what they usually wear" instead of measuring against the chart.
  • Ordering the exact headcount with no spares — one new hire or one wrong size then forces a costly mini-order.
  • Assuming all brands size the same; the chart for the specific garment always beats past experience with a different supplier.
  • Choosing slim fit for a mixed team — regular unisex fit is the only cut that works across a whole organisation.
  • Approving colours from a phone screen instead of a physical swatch or sample.
  • Forgetting that outer layers (jackets, dust coats, coveralls, vests) must fit over clothing — and sizing them like t-shirts.
  • Skipping the written size sign-off before production, then contesting sizes at delivery.

Recommendations By Organisation Type

  • Companies & corporates — standardise on one or two garments (typically polo + softshell jacket) in brand colours, embroidered left chest; keep the size list on file for effortless top-ups as staff join.
  • Schools & universities — prioritise durable fabrics and stable stocked colours (navy, maroon, forest green) so uniforms match across years; order a size distribution rather than exact counts, and include youth sizes where relevant.
  • NGOs & community organisations — field visibility matters — bold branded tees, caps, and reflective vests for field days; modest regular fits accommodate diverse teams; a full-back print identifies your organisation at a distance.
  • Events & campaigns — unisex round-neck tees on the standard size curve (15% S / 30% M / 30% L / 15% XL / 10% 2XL) with screen-printed artwork gives maximum impact per shilling; order spares — event stock always runs out in M and L first.
  • Hospitality & food service — chef jackets and aprons front-of-house and back-of-house in white or black, embroidered; choose fabrics rated for daily hot washing.
  • Construction, industry & logistics — certified reflective wear matched to the site's required class, cargo trousers by waist and leg length, and coveralls confirmed against both chest and height — with the size sign-off done by the safety officer.

Final Pre-Order Checklist

  1. Every wearer's size confirmed against the charts in this guide — measured, not guessed.
  2. Garment, colour, and fit type confirmed (and checked against a physical swatch where colour matters).
  3. Artwork approved on a digital mockup; pre-production sample approved for bulk orders.
  4. Size breakdown, spares, and delivery timeline confirmed in writing.
